Location: Wilmer, TXShift: 1st ShiftWork model: On-SiteSchedule: FULLTIME; Monday - Friday, 7:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.Job overview: Schneider is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Coordinator in Wilmer to manage the day-to-day maintenance needs of Schneider's buildings and grounds. The Senior Facilities Technician will complete repairs, coordinate with maintenance vendors and handle other facilities-related projects.Responsibilities:

• Act as the facility contact for a Schneider location.
• Execute preventative maintenance.
• Respond to facility work requests in a timely manner.
• Handle all yard maintenance, including snow removal.
• Take care of cleaning-related tasks.
• Coordinate and monitor all contractor activities taking place around the building.
• Solicit quotes from vendors regarding high-cost repairs.
• Be on call during off hours to assist with facilities-related work, when needed.Skills and qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 2-4 years of related experience.
  • Excellent facilities maintenance skills.
  • Experience working with vendors and contractors.
  • Familiarity with building mechanical systems and construction best practices.
