Job Description:
The Human Resources Clerk is responsible for performing a
variety of human resources support duties. Complete requested HR
processing tasks within the HR information system, including
maintaining company employee records and files. Assist with the
onboarding of new employees and tracking of temporary employees.
Perform general office support functions and serve as a resource to
employees for pay, benefits, and interpretation of human resource
policies and programs. Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for effectively recording, maintaining, and
reporting human resource information in a confidential manner.
- Ensure system records are accurately recorded, cross-checked,
and maintained in accordance with legal requirements and Company
policies and procedures.
- Assist Recruiter with the interview and new hire process,
including new hire orientation, and ensuring new hire paperwork is
completed and up-to-date and in compliance with federal
regulations.
- Respond to associate questions and problems courteously and
promptly.
- Maintains and projects the Company's professional
reputation.
- Responsible for establishing and maintaining effective
communication, coordination, and working relations with Company
personnel and with management team.
- Keep management informed of any significant employee issues
and/or concerns.
- Stays well informed on state and federal law updates and
related human resource developments.
- Assist with planning and coordinating employee appreciation
activities.
- Preforms all other duties as assigned by the Human Resources
Manager.Required Qualifications/Skills
- At least 1 year of related experience
- Bilingual Spanish
- HRIS system experience, knowledge of Workday preferred
- Associate's degree or related experience Other Desired
Qualifications/Skills:
- Understanding of human resource reporting and recordkeeping
requirements
- Basic understanding of human resource and recruiting
functions
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
- Ability to work in a fast-paced office environment
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication
skills
- Well organized and the ability to prioritize and
multi-task
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite- Word, Outlook,
PowerPoint, Excel, Teams
- Ability to meet deadlines accurately and efficiently
- Accurate and attentive to details
