Summary:
This position involves intake, consultation, and triage support for
patients and families referred to the Children's Health
Neuropsychology Service, a primarily outpatient service providing
support to patients with primary neurologically relevant medical
conditions. Additional roles will include provision of brief,
targeted intervention to address emotional, behavioral, and/or
cognitive problems. The role will be hybrid with opportunities to
provide services via telehealth.
Responsibilities:
* Provide evaluation and treatment services to patients and
families with complex psychosocial needs; provide crisis
intervention and emergency services as needed.
* Case management and disposition arrangements.
* Contribute to program development
* Maintain fiscal accountability and apply problem solving skills
that demonstrate responsibility for generating allocated billable
and/or patient contact hours.
* Contribute to the teaching mission of the hospital by working
with trainees as co-therapists, and participating in didactics on
topics of own expertise.
This is a full-time position working Monday through Friday from
8:00 a.m. to 5:00p.m.
You may be required to float occasionally to other Children's
Health locations including Dallas, Plano and THD Clinics.

Education:
* Masters Degree
Credentials:
* Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
* Licensed Marriage-Family Therapist
* Licensed Professional Counselor
* Basic Life Support
Other information:
WORK EXPERIENCE
* At least 1 year job related experience Req
* At least 3 years job related experience Pref
EDUCATION
* Graduate or professional work or advanced degree; or equivalent
experience Req
LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS
* State of Texas License at a Master's level (LPC, LMFT, LPT, or
equivalent) Req
* Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers as required by CP
