Product Manager is responsible for leading a team of product owners
in the product development efforts that will solve critical pain
points for both our customers and our associates. They deeply
understand the organization's business model, how their assigned
products impact the day-to-day operations, and work with functional
leaders to identify opportunities to evolve, transform, and
optimize both. The Sr. Product Manager has the unique
responsibility to span multiple functional areas of the company to
ensure our technology provides the right level of support for
successful business operations. This includes leasing, marketing,
maintenance, legal, compliance, investments and accounting. They
provide leadership to product development teams in order to build
the right solution at the right time while balancing cost, risk,
speed, intuition, and future need.Invitation Homes does not offer

time.Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide support to product leadership in the creation and
execution of the digital product strategy
- Create and maintain 3-6 month product roadmaps that align to
the approved digital product strategy
- Mentor and manage a team of product owners in all assigned
product development efforts, assisting with hands-on scrum
activities as needed
- Establish and constantly foster strong working relationships
with internal stakeholders and senior leadership to ensure clear
and direct communication around short- and medium-term product
efforts
- Build consensus among cross-functional stakeholders to optimize
experiences for our customers and create efficiencies for our
associates
- Partner with engineering leads to gain a strong understanding
of the technology integrations that enable the product capabilities
within their domain
- Partner with internal stakeholders to establish strong working
knowledge of the operational processes in the IH landscape that may
be impacted with each new product development effort
- Partner with the UX Research, Digital Experimentation and Data
Analytics teams to collect user insights
- Effectively manage the scope of approved efforts, mitigate
delivery risks where possible, and negotiate delivery trade-offs as
needed when priorities change
- Partner with 3rd party vendors where appropriate to commission,
prioritize and manage delivery efforts
- Partner with legal, risk, and security teams to ensure
compliance-related items meet established standards
- Work with data analysts to create and implement target outcomes
and success metrics for each new effort, continuously monitor
product performance throughout its lifecycle, and be willing to
decommission those that no longer provide notable value or support
corporate priorities
- Partner with the support team to ensure they are prepared to
support product enhancements once delivered
- Perform other duties as assignedEducation and/or Experience
- 3+ years of experience in a product owner/product manager
role
- 2+ years of management experience
- Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university or
equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience in real estate, travel, or retail preferred
- Experience being the owner of one or more digital products,
with a proven track record of success
- Experience with Agile/Scrum software deliverySkills/Specialized
Knowledge
- Strong business and technical acumen
- Ability to communicate complex information in simple terms to a
wide variety of audiences
- Strong written and oral communication skills and an ability to
work collaboratively
- Ability to negotiate without being adversarial
- Ability to effectively communicate and partner with executives
and senior-level leaders

Requirements

Overtime may be required for this position.Physical and Mental
DemandsThis position will spend long hours sitting and using office
equipment and computers. The position may also entail light lifting
of supplies and materials occasionally, up to and including 20
pounds in addition to reaching, stooping, standing, and walking.
