Job Type: Full-time
Position Overview: The Field Project Manager is responsible for
planning, executing, and delivering projects from within the field
to the office. This role involves coordinating with various
stakeholders, managing resources, and ensuring that project
objectives are met while adhering to safety, quality, and
productivity standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning and Execution:
- Develop detailed project plans, including scope, scheduling and
logistics.
- Coordinate with other stakeholders and clients to define
project requirements and expectations.
- Oversee the execution of the project plan, ensuring tasks are
completed as scheduled.
- Resource Management:
- Allocate and manage resources, including personnel, equipment,
and materials.
- Monitor resource utilization and make adjustments as needed to
optimize project performance.
- Team Leadership:
- Lead and supervise field crews.
- Provide guidance, support, and training to team members.
- Foster a collaborative, safe, and productive work
environment.
- Quality Assurance:
- Ensure that all work is performed to the highest quality
standards and in compliance with relevant regulations and
codes.
- Safety Management:
- Enforce safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working
environment.
- Conduct safety meetings and training sessions.
- Ensure that all required safety meetings are held and
documented properly, and that follow-up actions are taken as
needed.
- Stakeholder Communication:
- Maintain regular communication with clients and stakeholders to
provide project updates and address any issues.

- Problem Solving:
- Identify and resolve project-related issues and
challenges.
- Implement corrective actions and preventive measures as
necessary.
- Ensure that any concerns or complaints from the public are
handled professionally and promptly, coordinating with local
authorities or public relations as needed to resolve issues and
maintain a positive community relationship.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate project documentation, and progress
reports.
- Ensure that all project records are properly updated, archived,
and accessible.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering,
Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
- 3-5 years of project management experience, preferably in the
electric utility industry.
- Proven experience in managing construction or engineering
projects.
- Strong understanding of project management principles and
methodologies.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal
skills.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in the
field. Physical Requirements:
- Ability to work in various environmental conditions, including
outdoor settings.
- Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
- Occasional need to lift, pull, carry, and push items weighing
up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to always handle stressful situations in a calm and
courteous manner.
- Requires working under some stressful conditions to meet
deadlines and Company needs. Work Environment:
- Primarily office-based, with occasional field work as
needed.
- May require working outside of regular business hours to meet
