Senior Java Full Stack Engineer (Hybrid) About Cognizant's Digital Engineering Practice: At Cognizant Digital Engineering, a small cross functional team comprised of a Product Manager, an Architect, Full-Stack Developers, UI/UX designers and Big Data analysts builds higher quality software faster siloed individuals working independently. Across our US Studio system or within client development sites, our Digital Engineering teams ideate and develop innovative cloud-based solutions following a Lean-Agile process with DevOps culture. Working in Cognizant Digital Engineering provides DevOps engineers consistent opportunities to push digital boundaries while growing their exposure to transformational technologies. Location: Dallas, TX. • BS or B.Tech
• Write code, work on enhancements - strong unix, sql and java
• Strong communication skills required
• Strong exp in SQL and Java skills and Medium exp in Unix , Production support experience with trouble shooting , bug fixings, Root cause analysis etc.
• Any Banking domain knowledge or experience added Advantage
• Unix command line, Core SQL in depth , Coding in Java Expectations:
  • Work closely with SME(s) to implement migration execution plan.
  • Work closely with application owners, as directed by SME(s), to verify upgrade completeness and quality.
  • Work closely with QA team(s) to perform regression testing of migrated applications and obtain testing approval for production deployment.
  • Report daily to collaborators progress and raise any issues for resolution.
  • Create production change requests and get approvals via Chubb's ServiceNow system for change management.
  • Deploy migrated applications to production and validate applications function as expected.
  • Perform cutover from 1.9 to 2.0 for all applications.
  • For APIs, migrate existing APIs from 1.9 APIM platform to 2.0 platform. Qualifications

Salary and Other Compensation: The annual salary for this position is between $81,337 - $141,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
